Eric and Crystal Graybeal

What’s your name and what fills your time?

Eric Graybeal. Traveling for work to Atlanta, DC, and Richmond takes up a LOT of my time these days! I’m the publisher for the TheHomeMag in those markets.

Tell us a little about your background story and how you got here (First Coast).

I’m born and raised here at the beach. Grew up in the same house in Neptune Beach through High School. I’ve lived all over the beach – from Neptune, Atlantic, Jax Beach – and now live in Ponte Vedra.

Anything special going on for this summer?

This summer was all about coaching baseball for my son’s team and squeezing in some beach days on the few days we had off.

Any hobbies or interests worth telling us about?

I played Division 1 golf at Jacksonville University in the late 90’s and was a golf professional for a few years after college. These days I play not a handful of times a year – but I’ll try and get the game in gear for the Champions Tour once I turn 50. Right now my new career with The HomeMag and being there for my kids and their sports are my two main concerns.

What’s one thing (funny, different, cool) that many might not know about you?

Oh man.. I’m extremely boring but I guess my one talent is being able to recite funny movie lines at the drop of a hat. Also I’m a little ashamed to admit one of my new favorite ways to pass the time is doing Lego sets. They were a lot more fun than when we were kids. In fact, I like them more than my kids😂

What’s the best part of living here on the First Coast?

We have everything. Beaches, Football, Baseball.. great food and restaurants. We are also within a few hours of really cool cities – St. Augustine, Savannah, Sea Island, Hilton Head, Charlestown.. so many cool places to travel to near home. This is also a great place to raise a family with great schools. I have no reason to ever leave this place!

Anything else that you would like to tell the community.

Cherish where you live and take care of your community. I’ve been to a lot of places and we are truly blessed to live here!!
