Every Tuesday, fun-size Jax Beach venue Blue Jay Listening Room hosts one of the city’s premier jazz jams. Standouts from the region’s avant-garde come together for an evening of improvisation in Blue Jay’s intimate environs. Doors at 7 p.m.

BlueSoul is a sister project to John Miller’s BayStreet, a group with over 30 years of history.
Miller has shared billing with the likes of Kenny Loggins and Chubby Checker. Though he has performed globally, from the Bahamas to Poland, he has called Jacksonville Beach home since the mid-1980s and humbly considers BlueSoul and Baystreet to have attained “semi-local” status after decades of performing at the Beaches.
