First Coast Postcards – Inspired by vintage Florida postcards of yesteryear

Description

These images are inspired by my collection of vintage Florida postcards. I use an old Pentax 645 camera with Kodak Portra 120 film. I love this format because it reminds me of a canvas. I set out to capture quintessential Florida scenes that I can color myself. The color palette is evocative of faded beach town colors, ice cream cones and summer nostalgia.
