It's a pleasure to meet you. Tell us a little bit about your background and your journey, and what you're focused on today

Joan H Walker PAWtography, also known as "The PAWtographers," is a husband-wife team of Randy and Joan Walker. I am the chief pawtographer, photoshop whiz and production master; Randy is the expert lighting guru, IT guy and soon to be licensed drone guy.I began as an editorial freelance writer and photographer, specializing in anything and everything dog. I've authored nearly 30 books on dogs, including co-authoring the top training book in US in 2019. I've also photographed more than 1000 dogs.Though we've had a portrait business for nearly 20 years, we turned all our love and attention to pets (and their people) only for the last five years.
Who do you serve and what makes you different?

People who love their pets as treasured family members are our kind of people. We know how little time our pets bless our lives and how important it is to capture this love for future memories. We like to have fun at our sessions but we also know we are creating art that will be treasured for a lifetime.
What would you attribute to your success, and how can people get to know you better?

We truly love anything and everything "dog" (and cat!), and we use our training background (I trained the #1 Hound in obedience as a 13 year old) and deep understanding of dog behaviors to create as stress free and fun experience as possible for dogs of all temperaments.We also work hard to give back to the dog community and you can find us almost every month volunteering our time at various events to raise money for charities through our Pup-Up Pet Event Portraits. What's the best part about living on the First Coast?

The pet people -- I think the First Coast is one of the best places for dog owners to live and enjoy with their puppers. We have awesome dog parks, beaches and so many places to go and things to do with your dog.
