Check out the iconic lifeguard station in Atlantic Beach. Believe it or not, it’s a creation of the renowned architect William Morgan. Morgan was a very influential architect who made his home in Atlantic Beach and designed many important buildings, Funnily enough, locals recall Morgan’s fond declaration that his ‘’most significant work was the lifeguard tower in Atlantic Beach.” Erected years ago and refreshed in 1998, the tower stands as more than just a structure; it embodies the very essence and vitality of First Coast Life. It’s a great spot to capture images like this at sunrise. Enjoy!
