Between 1880-1910, Fernandina’s docks were among the busiest in the South. Basking in her heyday, she welcomed ships from the far corners of the globe.
Just 6 months ago during the Covid-19 lockdown, the beaches were closed. Residents were advised to maintain social distancing and wear masks. The only thing that remained normal was the beauty of an Atlantic Beach sunrise. Photo from April 1, 2020.
