Joey Romer. I grew up in Jacksonville Beach and for the past 42 years have been in law enforcement as a deputy with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Department. I am currently still recuperating from being struck by a bus while standing next to a vehicle I had pulled over during the Christmas holidays.
I enjoy surfing, sailing, standup paddle boarding, kiteboarding and anything active, especially with water. We enjoy traveling to Bali where we help many people. Helping people is what it’s all about.
I appeared as “Officer Jack” in a series of television PSA’s (Public Service Announcements) advocating child safety in 2012/13. I now own the Smart Paws Resort and Training. We offer services from dog boarding, training, and grooming.
I have recently purchased land in Panama. It is located on the beach in El Palmar.
Our goal is to provide a location in Panama for people to visit. It will be called Casa Bali Panama, and you will think you’re in Bali once you walk through the gates.
