Owner Full Name: Stacy Swan and Rich Swan
Pet’s Name: Molly Bear Pink Belly Stinker Pants. We call her Molly.
Thanks for your time Molly. How old are you and where do you live on the First Coast?
I am 2 years old. I live in St. Augustine, when I turned 1 year old my parents threw a huge birthday party for me.
What breed are you? Do you even know? Best Guess?
Lab mix, maybe red healer. The little red-headed girl(from Charlie Brown).
So how did you come to the Swan family?
I lived the 1st 10 weeks of my life at Palatka SAFE. I saw this couple walk in I knew and they knew… I jumped up on the cage and leaped into my new mommy’s arms. She and my daddy gave me the best hug of my life.
Describe your pawfect day
Wake up with Mom, she goes on her walk, I nap, and she comes home we have breakfast. Then at 10 am the highlight of my day… Mommy, Daddy, and I go out to the pool and all of a sudden it comes to life with bubbles and I get to bite at the bubbles in the pool, as my parent cheer me on. Get your pool Molly, good girl.
What things don’t you like?
I don’t like to get in the pool, I only like when the pool comes alive with bubbles. I get scared at thunderstorms and I don’t like when my parents leave to go do stuff.
Are you ever naughty?
Yes, I love to chew on my octopus squeaky and I pull out his octo stuffing. Sometimes my mommy leaves her sports bra out and I sneak it out of the bedroom and maybe just chew it a little. Then I hear Molly Bear…Oops got caught. I like to lick cardboard(that’s not weird).
Favorite walk?
To the mailbox and around the block past my bestie’s house Layla, and my other bestie Lucy. Sometimes they are outside too and we get to play for a minute.
Any little pups?
Nope, I am an only puppy and I like that, but if another puppy needed to be rescued I think that might be okay.
What do your Pawparents do?
They are retired so they do yard work and hang out with me. We get to go out to lunch sometimes and to the beach and I like to go to Lowe’s with daddy and shopping at Pet stores with my mommy.
What’s the best thing for you about living on the First Coast?
All of the pet-friendly restaurants! Yummy(I get my own little piece of grilled chicken when we eat out and I get to see everyone)! I like Matanzas inlet too! I enjoy an afternoon of sunbathing.
Anything else to tell the other dog families? Favorite charities? Favorite Veterinarians?
Oh yes, I love Monika at Doggy Drop n Go. I also love Dr. and Mrs. Dr. Timberlake at Southeast Vets. SAFE Animal shelter and Alyas Acres and Swamp Haven rescue. I think I might have left someone out if I did so sorry.
Is Saint Augustine the best-friendly pet town?
Yes, as far as I know. I will be 2 years old on November 4th, so I’m not well-traveled yet.
