Mitch McCue. I have lived here since being born in 1968, I would not trade anything for living here! Beach family is beach life!
Anything special going on for this summer?
Working and helping beach families. Working on my 1973 Ford Bronco and I’m taking a trip up to the mountains of North Carolina with close buddies!
Any hobbies or interests worth telling us about?
Lately my hobbies have been totally work related! My recent purchase of Shultz Roofing and keeping Home Services by McCue running seem to take up all of my time these days.. Then throw in the bait shop that will be rebuilt to provide beer/wine, bait, golf cart delivery service to ramp and beach marine. Plate is full. Look for the ” Jacksonville Beach Bait and tackle” to come your way soon!
What’s one thing (funny, different, cool) that many might not know about you?
Most don’t know how many family members I cared for during my career with ABFD and JFRD. It was so cool helping people as I walked in their home and they said, ” Help me.” I watched many of their fears of the situation turn into relief knowing a friend was there as a Paramedic/ Firefighter to help.
How do you like living on the First Coast?
Born here and will be buried here with all the others. What’s the best part of living here on the First Coast? Walking into a local restaurant and getting to know everyone! It’s a beach thing. Man this place is out of a movie!
Anything else that you would like to tell the community?
My family has been here since the 1930 helping beach people and I will die doing the same!
