1blackfrend is the brainchild of Detroit-native Randi Johnson, who has been a songwriter since the mid-2000s. Now relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, 1blackfrend’s music immediately commands attention. The sheer catchiness of their songs belies their lyrical vulnerability and somber themes.
