Meet Kira Sikes!

For Kira Sikes, real estate has never been simply about houses, contracts, or closing tables. It’s about people, possibilities, relationships, and figuring out how to get from “What if?” to “We did it.”

With more than a decade of experience in Florida real estate, Kira is a licensed Real Estate Broker Associate who has built her career around a simple philosophy: put people first, solve problems, and never be afraid to think outside the box.

Her experience reaches far beyond traditional residential real estate. Kira works with buyers, sellers, investors, builders, developers, and fellow real estate professionals across residential sales, investment properties, renovations and flips, off-market opportunities, land, new construction, commercial real estate, and development. She is especially drawn to transactions that require strategy, creativity, collaboration, and a willingness to look beyond the obvious solution.

And complicated doesn’t scare her. In fact, that’s usually when she gets interested.

Kira is naturally wired to look at a situation from every angle. If Plan A doesn’t make sense, she’s already considering Plans B and C and probably asking a question nobody else in the room has thought to ask yet. She enjoys identifying opportunities, analyzing properties, connecting the right people and resources, and finding creative paths forward when a traditional solution isn’t necessarily the best one.

That problem-solving mindset has made working with investors a natural extension of her business. Having worked alongside investors through acquisitions, renovations, flips, rentals, off-market properties, and other opportunities, Kira understands that an investment property has to make sense beyond simply looking good on paper. She enjoys digging into the possibilities of a property, helping clients recognize opportunities others may overlook, and building long-term relationships with investors as their goals and portfolios grow.

But whether the client is an experienced investor, a developer evaluating the next opportunity, a family selling the home they’ve loved for years, or a first-time buyer who has absolutely no idea what happens after “I think I want to buy a house,” Kira approaches them the same way: listen first, educate honestly, protect their interests, and give them every resource possible to make a confident decision.

She believes doing serious business doesn’t require making the entire experience serious.

Kira works hard, laughs often, asks plenty of questions, and genuinely wants her clients to enjoy working with her. Real estate already comes with enough contracts, deadlines, inspections, negotiations, surprises, and occasional plot twists. She believes there is plenty of room for expertise, professionalism, honesty, humor, and fun at the same closing table.

At the heart of her business is an even bigger love for people and community.

Kira believes the real estate industry is stronger when professionals collaborate instead of compete. Throughout her career, she has worked to build relationships with agents, investors, lenders, contractors, vendors, entrepreneurs, and other professionals who can become valuable resources for the people she serves. Her goal has never been simply to collect transactions. It is to become someone clients, friends, colleagues, and community members know they can call when they need an answer, a connection, a resource, or someone willing to help figure it out.

That philosophy extends well beyond real estate.

Kira is an entrepreneur, creative, community advocate, and perpetual idea-generator who has a hard time keeping her toes out of new water. She loves branding, marketing, design, technology, business development, renovation, entrepreneurship, community projects, and turning a good idea scribbled somewhere into something real. Over the years, she has volunteered her time and talents to help friends and local entrepreneurs brainstorm businesses, develop brands, create logos and marketing concepts, navigate startup tasks, and take the first steps toward building something of their own.

Sometimes that means selling a property. Sometimes it means connecting two people who should know each other. Sometimes it means brainstorming a business idea, finding a contractor, researching an opportunity, or saying, “I don’t know yet, but let me see what I can find out.”

That is simply how Kira is wired.

Outside of business, she is a wife, mom, devoted friend, creative, adventurer, and someone who believes life is meant to actually be lived. When she isn’t working on real estate, there’s a good chance she’s creating something, working out, planning an event or trip, dreaming up another business idea, tackling a home project, spending time with family and friends, or deciding to try something she’s never done before.

Her Christian faith is an important foundation in how she approaches her life, relationships, community, and business. She strives to lead with a servant heart, treat people well, use what she has learned to help others, and leave people and places a little better than she found them.

Ultimately, Kira doesn’t want to simply be someone you hire for one transaction.

She wants to be someone you’re glad you know.

Someone you can call when you want to buy your first home or your tenth investment property. When you’re considering selling, flipping, building, developing, investing, or pursuing an opportunity and aren’t quite sure where to begin. Someone who will tell you the truth even when the truth isn’t the easiest answer, bring the right people to the table, explore every reasonable option, and fight to protect what matters to you.

Whether you’re buying, selling, investing, building, developing, or simply wondering, “What are my options?”, Kira wants to be the person you call.

Work hard. Do right by people. Find the solution. And have some fun getting there.

Q&A

It's a pleasure to meet you. Tell us a little bit about your background and your journey, and what you're focused on today

I’ve spent more than a decade in real estate, but my journey has never stayed neatly inside the lines of simply buying and selling homes. I’ve had the opportunity to work in residential real estate, investments, flips and renovations, off-market properties, land, new construction, commercial opportunities and development. Along the way, I’ve owned a brokerage, built businesses, collaborated with investors and other professionals, and learned that the part I love most is solving problems and helping people see possibilities they may not have realized were there.Today, I’m a Florida Real Estate Broker Associate focused on serving buyers, sellers and investors while continuing to expand my knowledge of investment, development and creative real estate opportunities. I’m also an entrepreneur and perpetual idea-generator, so there’s usually another project brewing somewhere! At the center of all of it, though, are people. I want to build a business and a life where relationships matter, collaboration beats competition, and people know they can call me even when they aren’t quite sure what they need yet.
Who do you serve and what makes you different?

I serve everyone from first-time homebuyers and families selling a home to seasoned investors, entrepreneurs and people facing situations that don’t fit neatly into the traditional real estate box. What makes me different is that I don’t start with, “How can I turn this into a transaction?” I start with, “What are you actually trying to accomplish?” Sometimes the best solution is buying or selling a property. Sometimes it’s an investment strategy, an off-market opportunity, a creative solution, or simply connecting someone with the right person or resource.I’m naturally curious, resourceful and a little relentless when it comes to figuring things out. I take my clients’ money, goals and decisions very seriously, but I don’t think we have to be serious every second while doing it. We can negotiate hard, solve complicated problems, laugh a lot and actually enjoy working together. Real estate is stressful enough. I’d rather not add to it!
What would you attribute to your success, and how can people get to know you better?

Relationships, without question. Much of my business has been built through repeat clients, referrals and word of mouth rather than treating people like leads in a database. I’ve always believed that if you take care of people, tell them the truth, answer the phone, work hard and continue showing up after the closing table, the business tends to take care of itself.I also genuinely enjoy connecting people. If I know someone who can solve your problem, help your business, answer your question or open a door for you, I’m probably going to introduce you whether there’s anything in it for me or not.The easiest way to get to know me is simply to connect with me. Real estate is a huge part of my world, but so are family, faith, community, entrepreneurship, branding and design, travel, trying new things, and whatever new idea has captured my attention that week. I take my work seriously, but I try not to take life too seriously. There should always be room for laughter.Learn more about me, find real estate resources and connect here: https://bio.site/kirasikes.real
What's the best part about living on the First Coast?

The lifestyle and the people. The First Coast gives us this incredible combination of beaches, waterways, neighborhoods, history, local businesses, outdoor activities and things to do almost year-round. You can spend the morning at the beach, explore a completely different part of town that afternoon, support a locally owned restaurant that evening, and still discover somewhere new the following weekend. What I especially love is that Jacksonville is a major city that can somehow still feel like a small town. There are so many overlapping communities here, and once you get involved, you realize just how connected everyone really is.I also love watching Northeast Florida continue to grow and evolve. From established neighborhoods to new communities, investment and development opportunities, there is always something changing. Being in real estate gives me a front-row seat to that growth, and I love being part of the community rather than simply doing business in it.
Anything else that you'd like to add?

If there’s one thing I’d want people to know about me, it’s that I don’t simply want to be the person you hire for one real estate transaction. **I want to be someone you’re glad you know.**Maybe you call me because you’re ready to buy or sell. Maybe it’s five years later because you’re considering your first investment property. Maybe you have a crazy business idea, need a trustworthy contractor, are wondering what a piece of land could become, or simply need someone who knows someone. My faith, family and relationships are incredibly important to me, and I try to approach business with the same servant mindset: work hard, do right by people, share what I know, connect people whenever I can, and leave things a little better than I found them. And preferably laugh a few times while we’re doing it. Life’s too short not to enjoy the ride.Learn more, connect with me and explore my resources: https://bio.site/kirasikes.realWorked with me before?
