Deck The Chairs is a non-profit promoting children’s arts and arts education.

The organization hosts a free, six-week, holiday event in Jax Beach featuring a nationally recognized decorated lifeguard chairs exhibit.

Chair sponsorships help underwrite holiday park lighting, support student exhibits, and allow organizers to showcase more than 30 hours of children’s stage programming. Private support also funds a nightly musical light show with holiday trees and custom-fabricated whimsical coastal decorations.

Jax Beach Deck The Chairs (JBDTC) lifts the local economy during the winter season with proceeds from the event distributed to community-related children’s arts and arts education programs.

Nearly a decade of JBDTC event operations has taken its toll on the beloved holiday tree. Introduced in 2014, the 30’ metal frame has endured thousands of hours of oceanfront salt air and needs restoration.

We are asking ALL Deck The Chairs (DTC) friends to consider helping us raise $8000 for the work.

The DTC budget is limited. Projects like this are necessary but unique to annual responsibilities.

We have created a limited opportunity for the first 80 donors of $80 or more to have their names added to the 2023 tree skirt.

100% of the tree donations go toward repairs.

Thank you for keeping Magic In The Chair!
