Thanks for taking time away from your play! How old are you and where do you live on the First Coast?
(Tyson) I am 6 years old and my sister Olive is 1 and a half and we live in Atlantic Beach
What breed are you? Do you even know? Best Guess?
(Olive) My DNA test said I’m a mix of a bunch of different dogs but I look like a miniature chocolate lab. (Tyson) I am a Golden Retriever and a good boy
So how did you come to your new family?
(Tyson) My parents found me at a rescue in Ormand Beach. I was training to be a bomb-sniffing dog but that wasn’t the job for me. I failed my tests and the rescue helped me find my family. (Olive) My parents were sad after losing their dog Jesse and decided a puppy was what they needed to heal their broken hearts. I was living with a foster family and when I met my mom it was love at first sight!
Describe your pawfect day
(Tyson) Playing fetch, swimming at the beach, hiking, and chasing lizards (Olive) I think I should go to the dog park all day every day. I also like forcing my big brother to play with me. It took lots of persistence but he likes to play with me now
What things don’t you like?
(Tyson) thunder is really scary but my thunder coat makes me feel safe (Olive) I really don’t like when I have to have my ears cleaned!
Are you ever naughty?
(Tyson) I’m a good boy but sometimes I like to see what’s in the trash can (Olive) I like being naughty. Sometimes I have tantrums if I don’t get what I want
Favorite walk?
We both like going to Dutton Island and Hanna Park
What do your Pawparents do?
Our dad is a finance manager at a local car dealership and our mom is a zookeeper at the Jacksonville Zoo. She takes care of the elephants and giraffes
What’s the best thing for you about living on the First Coast?
We love that we can play outside all times of the year. And we love that it’s such a dog-friendly place to live. We get lots of pets when we go places …
