The chorus traditionally presents three concerts a year: a holiday program including portions of Handel’s Messiah; a mid-season program of popular songs and show tunes; and a spring program featuring major choral works. The concerts are held at the Cathedral Basilica, Ancient City Baptist Church and Kirk Auditorium at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind.
We encourage new chorus members of all voice parts, especially those who sing tenor and bass, to come to join us! New singers are welcome throughout the year! No auditions are required! Simply come to our first scheduled rehearsal on Tuesdays at Memorial Presbyterian Church. You may indicate your interest in joining by pre-registering HERE. We will add your name to our contact list and let you know when rehearsals resume.
Membership dues are $35.00 per concert (to help defray costs).
Our only other requirement is a commitment to faithfully attend rehearsals each Tuesday from 6:50 – 9:00pm, and to make use of the many “help” we provide you, including practice tracks, while at home between rehearsals.
