The Jax Beach Polar Plunge is scheduled to come off once again on the morning of January 1, 2025. Now in it’s thirty sixth year, the Plunge has become an annual tradition that attracts plungers from all across the South Eastern United States. Held annually at the Seawalk Pavilion, the Polar Plunge takes place at 9:00am, but plungers are advised to arrive early in order to park, get to the beach, finish that last bit of hot coffee and find friends to share stories with before taking the dip!
Polar Plunge organizer, Mitch Kaufmann said, “The Polar Plunge is a great way to start the new year off with a major challenge to yourself. Just talking yourself into jumping into such cold water on a frigid day so early in the morning is a huge accomplishment. As the year unfolds and you find yourself facing new challenges, it becomes a lot easier to deal with it knowing you made the plunge!”
Parking is free at the city lot next to Sneakers Bar & Grill and the Polar Plunge is free and open to public.
