Beaches Go Green has partnered with WJXT News4Jax/River City Live and is celebrating their Positively Jax efforts with this community cleanup on 2/20/21.
This cleanup has 3 beach locations –
Beaches Town Center (Atlantic Blvd Beach Access)
Jacksonville Beach (Oceanfront Park)
Ponte Vedra Beach (Mickler Beach Access)
Each location will have pre-event beach yoga at 8am then a community cleanup from 9am-11am. Prizes will be awarded at 11:15am.
Prizes awarded for the strangest items found, most overall trash collected & most cigarette butts collected! Be sure to keep count of your cigarette butts & log your numbers & items with BGG volunteers when turning in your buckets/gloves.
BGG will provide buckets to share, small paper bags for cigarette butt collection & 1 glove per volunteer.
Our AMAZING community sponsors will be providing prizes and snacks for volunteers.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE!
