Hailing from Michigan, Vibe RW has found a home on the First Coast that he loves.

What part of the First Coast do live in now?

I’m living in Orange Park at the moment. I play a lot around the Fleming Island area and this is very convenient.

When did you know you had an interest in music?

I was 10 yrs old when music became something I knew was for me…..I knew music would always be a major part of my life.

Did you start with any specific instrument and migrate to other instruments?

I’ve always loved piano/keyboards….even though my parents initially bought me a drum set…{.which I used as target practice for my BB gun}…But when my mom bought a piano I knew this was my passion and have never stopped.

Vibe is very creative with his promos!

Are you currently in a band (or bands)?

I am a one man act. I play several keyboards, all in the same show.

Who is your favorite musician, or what musician influenced you the most?

Joe Sample has to be my number one favorite. Of course theres many others who move me!

Are there any specific highlights or memories in your career that you would like to tell us about?

Too many to list here but,Joe Sample has always been my number one favorite pianist. Years later I had the privilege of opening up for him in Georgia. MIND BLOWING for me!

What area bands or musicians are at the top of your list to go out and hear?

I don’t get a chance to go hear other Bands much at all. Smokestack for one, but there are a few that I truly respect for what they do…

Do you have a favorite local venue that you enjoy the most?

I enjoy playing where ever I’m invited to entertain… but my favorite at the moment is San Sebastian Winery in St. Augustine….along with a few others!!!

Do you have any upcoming gigs you would like to tell our readers about?

YES… Whiskey Jax in Baymedows,  April 13th, 8:00… It’s a show to Promote my new single ” IT DON’T MATTER” and a few couple other of my songs. I will have New T shirts. I will be in high energy mode and people should come ready to dance and party.  Definitely a show that you don’t want to miss!!!

What is the best way for musicians to network?

I don’t think there is a best way to network. I believe that you use every platforn possible to get yourself out there so that you can connect with other musicians!

If you had a question you would like to ask another musician what would it be?

What made you want to be a part of the music world and what is your present goal with your craft?

Personal hobbies or interests? Family?

My focus is continuously evolving in my craft. Performing, writing and creating. My wife and I put our energy on getting to the next level. My interest is in uplifting and motivating people to become their best self.

What’s the best thing for you about living on the First Coast?

I can truly say that personal growth has been the number one thing. I have met some great folks here and i’m greatful that people are embracing me as an artist.  After growing up in Michigan cold weather, I’m extremely thankful for Florida weather!

Where and how can folks learn more about you and/or your band? Links to your website?

Facebook, Instagram, Spotify and digital streaming platforms.

Is there anything else that you want to tell everyone reading this?

There is nothing more important than the opportunity to uplift and encourage people. VIBE RW is not just some word I take lightly. I always tell my audience that they call me Vibe because THATS WHAT I DO. I believe it’s my calling in life to uplift, encourage and leave the people better than I find them.

listen to Vibe RW and any one that listens to Robb, his music and messaging can change your outlook on life. we’d still be following him in Jacksonville, if we hadn’t moved. We do come to Jax periodically and we always try to see where he’s playing. A shout out to his manager Patricia. There a great team. Go check him out if you get the chance.
