The Art of Black & White

Description

The Art of Black & White.

Mysterious, intense and timeless, the black and white image is why I fell in love with photography. When shooting in this format, form, shape and light rather than color become the most important elements in the composition.

I’m honored that an image from my black and white series on surfing has been juried into an upcoming photo exhibition at Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis. The series focuses on the surfers and breaks these talented folks use every day including the Mayport Poles, Jacksonville Beach Pier and North Jetty.
