What’s your name and what fills your time?
Cindy Davenport Singer songwriter manager for my band Highway Jones. Counselor. Mom. Sister. Friend. I grew up on the First Coast!! Attended Orange Park Elementary DuPont. Graduated from Wolfson high school and went to Flagler College. Most of my family are still living in Jax.
Anything special going on for this summer?
Of course I enjoy the beach and hiking beautiful trails in and around Jacksonville. I love to swim. my band, Highway Jones Performs all around Jacksonville and Daytona. We have several originals now playing on Indy radio stations locally and worldwide! Music Music and more music! Gigging! Recording. Making videos. Looking forward to some larger venues in the summer!!
Any hobbies or interests worth telling us about?
Swimming, and I just bought a new pair of roller skates! Plan to play guitar more! Songwriting. Learning how to plant a veg garden. The band keeps me very busy!! I cant imagine doing anything else. I feel so Blessed. Hanging with my family too.
What’s one thing (funny, different, cool) that many might not know about you?
I love sports. Baseball. Football. I have two birds. A cockatiel named Tweetie and a parakeet named Doug.
How do you like living on the First Coast?
I have Been here all my life. Watched it grow. Not sure if I like the changes sometimes the traffic is crazy. But its my home and I have happy memories here. Southern rock and roll!! The climate, cost of living, parks, coastline, music venues!

Make every day count!! Help each other. Participate in the community. We need each other! Live. Laugh. Love!!
