What part of First Coast do you reside now and how long have you lived there?
Jacksonville beach fl I lived here since November 2016

How long have you been doing your craft or trade?
Ever since I was about 12 years old

What brings out your creativity?
The world I see the world as a canvas. Everywhere I go something strikes my eye to be a creator no matter if it’s people, trees, buildings, water, etc etc.

What does your work aim to say? Are you trying to bring a smile to someone’s face or add to someone’s home decor?
Most of my artwork is bright-colored I am to bring smiles, happiness, and wow the eye of the beholder! I feel my art brings a warm spot and movement where any audience can take part of

Are there any spaces or designers that have influenced you?
I am more influenced by the landscape I love to analyze the trees, land, flowers, rocks, and sky! There are thousands of ways to create it and it’s never a wrong way

What is your favorite artistic accomplishment?
I wrote my 1st book Locals Never Quit, My artwork was able to be displayed for the A Bet Theater, I also held a solo art show at Beaches Library I have artwork hanging up in pointe cedar and also I have artwork all over the world Las Vegas, Miami, west palm beach, Texas, Jacksonville, Georgia, Minnesota, Michigan and more where people have purchased from me at the art walk

Do you have a specific piece you would love to talk about or promote?
Yes, I have a piece that I painted with an African woman and a tiger after having major back surgery a week late I put my all into this piece and it wasn’t easy! It has to face so that buyers could enshrine themselves in the painting

What is the best way for artists to network?
word of mouth, FB, Etsy, or art walks

If you had a question you would like to ask another artist what would it be?
How does it make you feel when you have painted or created for years and someone comes along and sells more than you and there is not as great as yours? Do you feel like you what art to create to actually touch the audience of people you are surrounded by

What is the best thing about living on the First Coast?
There are opportunities like this one where you have to go out and seek

Being an artist is a job we put many hours into our projects

I reply with the grace of God and eye and hand coordination

People ask how did you get so talented?
I reply my mom was an artist I have a sister and daughter who is too. Our family is full of creative genes drawing, painting, sewing, etc.
